Introduction

Earlier this year, LINGL UK successfully completed the hand-over of a new Automatic Finger Car to Forterra Brick, one of the most important manufacturers of clay bricks in the United Kingdom.

Operation

The new Transfer Car & Finger Car was designed extensively to suit the existing factory conditions, with installation and commissioning taking place over a limited time period, also incorporating the fitting of new running rails in the existing foundation.

The machine will systematically load wet brick on pallets from a storage frame & into a chamber dryer for drying. Finally unloading the dry bricks into a storage frame for the process to continue.

The vehicle group has been engineered to an extraordinarily high standard of efficiency and flexibility, modern electrical control focusing on user-friendliness and compatibility.  Utilising wireless technology & a large graphical touch screen for operator interface.
